The Miss Tourism Laos pageant was created with the commitment to use the power of “beauty” as a medium to convey the beauty of Laos to people in many deeper dimensions, including nature, culture, traditions, lifestyle, food, language and the distinctive identity of each local people. We are not only looking for girls with external beauty, but we are looking for a new generation of Lao girls who are capable, thoughtful, responsible and ready to represent the country in telling the story of the Lao PDR in a dignified way so that every appearance can inspire, create pride and invite people from all over the world to travel and experience the charm of Laos for themselves.

Miss Tourism Laos is not just a competition to find the winner, but a platform of opportunity that opens up a space for contestants, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers, artists, media producers, entrepreneurs, communities and businesses to come together to create and grow together. All the activities of the competition not only create color and excitement, but also help publicize tourist attractions, local products, service businesses and the identity of each province to be more widely known, as well as create jobs, generate income and promote economic turnover for those involved. Because we believe that a valuable beauty pageant should not only create fame for the winner, but must be able to create tangible benefits for society, the tourism industry and the nation.

What makes Miss Tourism Laos unique and different from other platforms is the creation of a new pageant concept every year to convey the beauty of Laos in a unique perspective and to make each pageant have its own story, identity and memory. This year, the pageant is presented under the concept of “Mekong Gems”, which compares each girl to a precious gem, sculpted from the land, culture and the river of life. She will not only take to the stage to compete or take the crown, but will represent the beauty, strength and values of Lao women, ready to shine and bring the Lao story to the world.
